The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport AT has been launched in India at INR 23.55 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Available only in the 4×2 configuration, the new variant is positioned below the top-end Pajero Sport 4×4 MT. The 2.5-litre 16-valve four-cylinder diesel engine which employs an intercooled turbocharger has been retained. Power and torque figures stand at 178 PS (175.49 bhp) at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm between 2,000-2,500 rpm respectively. The 5-speed automatic gearbox is a torque-converter type unit.
