Mercedes Benz B- Class

More economical, stronger, cleaner
The fourth-generation common-rail diesel technology of Mercedes-Benz B-Class is too powerful engines, impressive and quiet with their fuel-consumption figures and optimised emission.

4-cylinder diesel engines
The 4-cylinder diesel engines are boasted a hefty torque and an immediate response, even in the lower engine speed range. At the same time the diesel engines are modest when it comes to fuel consumption, are low on emissions and impress with their significantly improved quiet-running characteristics and their reduced vibrations.

  • State-of-the-art technology: Improved a turbocharger and ignition pressure with a variable nozzle turbine ensures a high torque in every engine speed range.
  • Impressive figures: The B 180 CDI with 7G-DCT delivers 80 kilowatts with a maximum torque of 250 Newton metres.
  • Low consumption, high output figures and emissions:The current engine generation features high torque and impressive output while also achieving lower reduced CO2 and emissions fuel consumption.
Environmentally compatible concepts:
In Mercedes-Benz B-Class is fully Environmental Certificate “Design for Environment” (ISO/TR 14062) attests to its high environmental compatibility, from production and usage right through to end-of-life disposal.
BlueEFFICIENCY comprises a whole package of specific measures:
·         Adjustable radiator shutter (B 180 BlueEFFICIENCY) and controlled oil pump
·         Ancillary components controlled to save energy
·         Refrigerant compressor property
·         Particularly efficient alternator
·         Dual clutch transmission 7G-DCT
·         ECO start/stop function
·         Engines with direct petrol injection; optimised diesel engines
·         Current fuel consumption indicator
·         Optimised aerodynamics. (Cd value = 0.26)
·         Tyres with reduced rolling resistance
